Emmy Awards 2011 - Vencedores

Os vencedores dos Emmy Awards 2011 foram anunciados. “Modern Family” da ABC venceu, mais uma vez, o Emmy de Melhor Série de Comédia e “Mad Men” da AMC também voltou a vencer, pela quarta vez consecutiva, o Emmy de Melhor Série Dramática. O Emmy de Melhor Minissérie ou Telefilme foi para “Downton Abbey” que também venceu os Emmys de Melhor Actriz Secundária (Maggie Smith), Melhor Realização (Brian Percival) e Melhor Argumento (Julian Fellowes) Numa Minissérie ou Telefilme. Melissa McCarthy venceu o Emmy de Melhor Actriz Principal Numa Série de Comédia e, naquele que foi um dos melhores momentos da noite, festejou em palco com as restantes cinco nomeadas. Martin Scorsese venceu o Emmy de Melhor Realização Numa Série Dramática por “Boardwalk Empire” e os veteranos Kyle Chandler e Julianna Margulies venceram, respectivamente, os Emmys de Melhor Actor e Melhor Actriz Principal Numa Série Dramática. Jane Lynch não venceu nenhum Emmy mas foi uma mestra de cerimónias muito divertida, tendo mesmo protagonizado um hilariante sketch onde brincou com o actual mediatismo dos habitantes italo-americanos de Nova Jersey.

Os nomeados aos Emmy Awards 2011 foram revelados. “Mad Men” e “Modern Family” vão tentar defender os seus títulos de Melhor Série Dramática e Melhor Série Humorística contra adversários de pesos como “Boardwalk Empire”, “Dexter”, “Glee” ou “30 Rock”. A nível dos actores e actrizes, não há duvida que este ano a luta vai ser muito renhida porque todos os nomeados têm fortes hipóteses de levar o Emmy para casa.
