O Sindicato dos Produtores Norte-Americanos, Producers Guild of America, revelou a lista de vencedores dos Prémios PGA 2012. “The Artist” venceu o DGA de Melhor Filme, batendo assim o seu maior rival - “The Descendants”. O Prémio de Melhor Filme Animado foi atribuído a "The Adventures of Tintin", que assim vê confirmado o seu estatuto de favorito ao Óscar de Melhor Filme Animado.
