O Screen Actors Guild (SAG) atribuiu o Prémio de Melhor Elenco a “The King’s Speech”, um prémio que era espectável tendo em conta os louvores que o filme tem recebido neste campo. Os Prémios SAG de Melhor Actor e Actriz Principal foram respectivamente atribuídos a Colin Firth e Natalie Portman pelas suas brilhantes performances em “The King’s Speech” e “Black Swan”, dois prémios que também nos indicam que estes dois actores deveram arrecadar os respectivos Óscares de Melhor Actor e Actriz Principal. Christian Bale (The Fighter) e Melissa Leo (The Fighter) também receberam, sem surpresa, os Prémios SAG de Melhor Actor e Actriz Secundário.
